Artists Funded Projects

Check it out!

The goal of community engagement for PlanBTV South End was to bring as many voices into the planning and visioning process as possible, with special attention to those who may not typically participate in community meetings.  Many artists have an ability to develop meaningful involvement with the community through their unique skills, talents and perspectives. The PlanBTV South End project provided funding to support artists in engaging community to make PlanBTV South End distinct from other planning processes-it will be a creative placemaking project and that puts the "creative" front and center.

Through a grant from the National Endowment for the Arts, the City supported over 20 artists projects to engage the community in planBTV South End. To showcase this work, we've created a special website, located at: PlanBTVarts.com.
