Green Mountain Passport

Burlington residents who are at least 62 years of age or are veterans of the uniformed services are eligible to apply for the Green Mountain Passport. The Green Mountain Passport costs $2 and allows free day use of Vermont State Parks, Vermont Historic Sites, and City of Burlington Parks. To apply for a Green Mountain Passport, complete the application and send it with a photocopy of your valid ID and a check for $2 made out to the City of Burlington. Mail to: City of Burlington, Attn: GMP, 149 Church St., Burlington, VT 05401. You may also apply in person in the Clerk/Treasurer's Office during our business hours. 

To use the Green Mountain Pass at Burlington City Parks, leave the pass on your dashboard or contact the Clerk Treasuer's office for a digital parking pass. City Parks include:

  • North Beach 
  • Leddy Park 
  • Oakledge Park 
  • Perkins Pier

Vermont's Historic sites include:

  • President Calvin Coolidge’s Community Plymouth Notch
  • President Chester Arthur Historic Site, Fairfield
  • Chimney Point, Addison
  • Hubbardton Battlefield, Hubbardton

  • Old Constitution House, Windsor
  • Eureka Schoolhouse, Springfield
