The City of Burlington, through the Department of Parks, Recreation & Waterfront (BPRW) seeks a Vendor to operate a bike rental program for one summer season (May to October). The bike rental program will be located at the bottom of College Street, next to the current bike racks along the Burlington Greenway.
The selected operator will be responsible for providing two (2) bike racks and rental bikes to be placed at the end of College Street, next to the current bike racks along the Burlington Greenway, for public use. A small, Director-approved sign at the bike rack location is permissible. No other structure, temporary or permanent, will be allowed.
The selected operator will be responsible for maintaining the bike racks, keeping the bikes in safe and operable conditions, and collecting any errant bikes around the City of Burlington.
