The Burlington Fire Department will be accepting applications for entry level firefighters with Paramedic, AEMT, or EMT certification in early 2021

Entry-Level Firefighters work a 24 hours on-duty, 48 hours off-duty schedule making a starting salary of $48,837.00 base pay with additional percentage based incentives for Advanced EMT and Paramedic certifications.

• Minimum applicant qualifications include a current EMT certification.
• CPAT certification is NOT required to apply. However, YOU MUST have a current CPAT certification to begin your employment. CPAT testing facilities can be found in many states and locations.
